For Merlyn's most recent brochure DMD produced much of the product imagery in 3D. This saved on the cost of photography while also allowing more flexibility with the shot, the angle or material finishes could easily be changed without the costs associated with rebuilding a traditional set.
As well as the black & white product imagery a series of lifestyle shots were also produced in 3D to be used within a range of marketing materials.
DMD also produced the current database driven website. As well as showing the entire product catalogue, technical information and downloads customers can also register for the lifetime guarantee. The website also triumphed against other bathroom manufacturers in the Oct 2009 issue of
Essential Kitchen & Bathroom Magazine.

Working closely with Merlyns sales & marketing director DMD have created one of the most recognisable brands within the luxury bathroom sector. Moving away from the tired blues of the existing marketing materials a sleek, contemporary black look and feel with small accents of colour was introduced. This was applied to everything from the product brochures and website to the cars and suits of the sales representatives.
The bathroom sets for the brochures were all constructed and photographed in house. Detailed planning and art direction was undertaken in order to create the right mood and ambience and to ensure each product was put in it's best light to pitch at the right market.
